How It Works

  1. Inspire Us: Channel the forests, mountains, rivers, and wildlife you love into a unique and captivating design.

  3. Submit Your Work: Send us your design through our easy-to-use submission form.

Selected Designs

Our team will carefully review all submissions. If your design is chosen, you'll have the amazing opportunity to:

  • See your design on Wild Wisp Apparel products: Your artwork will be proudly featured on our t-shirts, hoodies, and more.
  • Earn royalties: You'll earn a percentage of sales from products featuring your design.
  • Artist Spotlight: Each community artist will be randomly spotlighted on our homepage and on our social media to help promote your designs, this means getting posts specifically about The Artist and their designs, as well as a banner on our homepage promoting your designs.
  • Gain Recognition: Every one of Wild Wisp Apparels Community Artists will receive their own Artists page on our website! This is what we promote when we spotlight our artists. Each page will include a small portfolio of your designs that you've submitted, and will include a short biography about the artist, as well as links to their social media profiles and website (if applicable.)

Design Guidelines

To ensure your amazing designs translate beautifully onto our apparel, please follow these guidelines:

Must-follow guidelines

  • Submit files in PNG or JPEG format with at least 200 DPI
We recommend using PNG for designs with a transparent background.
300 DPI is the recommended Resolution.
    (4500 x 5100 px) Maximum Resolution (30000 x 30000) px
  • Create files in the sRGB color profile
To ensure your design looks the same when printed as it does on screen, make sure you create your print file in an sRGB color profile.

Tips for best results

  • Avoid semi-transparent designs
We recommend using solid colors or simulating semi-transparency by halftoning. These are semi-transparent graphics (or elements with lowered opacity) that don't print well with direct-to-garment printing in DTG printing.
  • Create designs with the necessary resolution (DPI)
Ensure that your print files have high enough resolution. Just increasing the number of pixels/resolution won't result in a better print. The best approach is to recreate the design with the necessary resolution. The ideal resolution is 300 DPI.
  • Use transparency for better-looking designs
Black ink will appear gray on black garments because of the white under base used during printing. Leave these areas fully transparent when designing black garments.
  • Avoid Dark Colors
Do not use dark color designs or text on dark garments as it may not produce the intended outcome.
  • CMYK
Use colors within the CMYK gamut to ensure accurate reproduction; colors outside this range may result in slight variations.
  • Avoid Neon Colors
Steer clear of neon colors in the design, as they might not yield the desired effect.

Direct-to-garment disclaimers

  • We don't print white ink on white garments. Any designs containing white will have areas with no print on them.
  • White ink elements on bright-colored garments might look tinted. This is most evident in Red, Maroon, and other similarly colored garments.
  • There might be slight discrepancies in print placement.
  • Different quality garments might produce different printing output. Opt for a premium or heavyweight 100% cotton garments. These materials offer tighter knit, resulting in better printing outcomes.

Once you hit that 'Submit' button, here's what you can expect:

  • We'll Be In Touch: Our team aims to review your design within a couple of weeks. Whether your design is accepted or not, we'll send you an email to let you know the outcome.
  • If Your Design Is Accepted: Fantastic news! We'll send over some simple documents for you to sign regarding the exclusive use of your design on Wild Wisp Apparel. We'll also gather the necessary details to start sending those royalties your way.
  • If Your Design Needs Adjustments: If we loved your design, but it didn't quite meet our technical requirements, don't worry! We'll provide specific recommendations to help you make adjustments and resubmit your design for a chance to be featured.
